The School of Engineering celebrates its Leonardo Awards

Once again, the School of Engineering conmemorates the birthdate of Leonardo Da Vinci (15th of April, 1452) and awards its students and professors. Even thought this year has been impossible to celebrate the traditional ceremony, the awards went ahead. These awards recognise the best research careers, best academic records, academic activity, best teaching, etc, of the previous accademic year.

The following researchers and professors from biogroup were awarded. Congratulations to all of them!

- Gumersindo Feijoo, Anuska Mosquera and Francisco Omil, received the Leornado award for their teaching in the Master of Environmental Engineering.

- Juan M. Garrido and Anuska Mosquera got the Leornado award for their teaching in the Master of Chemical Engineering and Bioprocesses.

- Maite Moreira and Juan M. Lema received the Leonardo Award for their research activity and for their excellence in researching.

- Jorge González-Rodríguez obtained a total of 3 awards: Best final Thesis of the Master of Chemical Engineering and Bioprocesses, best Academic Record obtained in the Master of Chemical Engineering and Bioprocesses and the Extraordinary award obtained in Chemical Engineering degree 2018/2019.

- Jesús Blanco, who carried out his master thesis in the biogroup, received the VIAQUA Award for the best Master Thesis.
