Second edition of the Summer Course "Environmental opportunities of the circular economy applied to the agri-food sector"

The second edition of the Summer Course "Environmental opportunities of the circular economy applied to the agri-food sector" was organised by BioGroup-CRETUS within the framework of the CerealMed PRIMA project (PCI2020-111978) and supported by Vin@Sostenible

A total of 18 students and 16 speakers participated with multidisciplinary presentations in the field of circular economy, the achievement of the SDGs and the integration of environmental sustainability in the agri-food sector. This year, the course was attended by companies that are committed to sustainability in their production processes, investing in innovation and research, as well as in new technologies such as Viña Costeira, Vegalsa-Eroski, Panadería DaCunha , Paco&Lola and Sementares.  Environmental analysis workshops, a technical visit to the Viña Costeira facilities with wine tasting, and a tasting of bread made with autochthonous Galician wheat from Panaderia DaCunha completed the course activities.
