Sandra González defended her Doctoral Thesis entitled "Production strategies and environmental applications of fungal enzymes", supervised by Prof.Maite Moreira and Dr. Gemma Eibes.

In her work Sandra addresses the improvement of fungal enzyme production processes using different agro-industrial waste as a substrate, as well as the application of enzyme cocktails in environmental improvement processes.

The commission is formed by Carolyn Palma, (Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, Chile), Elisabet Aranda (Universidad de Granada) and Dr. Roberto Taboada (profesor at IES Meaño).
