The Spanish Network for Life Cycle Assessment “esLCA” and the Italian LCA Network Association are organising the 1st Mediterranean Symposium on Life Cycle Assessment (MeSyLCA 2019) within the broader framework of the 3rd ANQUE-ICCE International Congress of Chemical Engineering that will take place in Santander (Spain) from June 19th to 21st, 2019.

The main goal of MeSyLCA 2019 is to contribute to consolidating and advancing life cycle thinking across all sectors (food, water, energy, buildings, etc.), with focus on –but not limited to– LCA actors in Mediterranean countries.

Since june 2018, the postdoctoral researcher Sara González is member of the new esLCA Steering Committee with Diego Iribarren (IMDEA Energy / Spanish Network for Life Cycle Assessment esLCA, Spain) and Maurizio Cellura (University of Palermo / Italian LCA Network Association, Italy). They three are the promoters of this joint event.

Prof. Maite Moreira is also involved in the Symposium as she is member of the Scientific Committee.

Call for Papers for MeSyLCA2019

The call for papers is now open until 29th March 2019. Only abstracts written in English are allowed (Word template is available at https://anque-icce2019.com/en/content/guidelines). Abstracts have to be submitted online at : https://anque-icce2019.com/en/node/add/abstract; Attendants willing to participate in MeSyLCA should choose “ICCE 3” as the congress and “S7 – 1st Mediterranean Symposium on Life Cycle Assessment (MeSyLCA 2019)” as the specific ICCE 3 event.
