Raquel Fariñas

Predoctoral Researcher

I graduated in Chemical Engineering in 2020 and hold a Master's degree in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering since 2022 both at the University of Santiago de Compostela. My research is focused on the sequential valorization of apple pomace for the extraction of polyphenolic compounds and the production of biobutanol by ABE fermentation. This work is part of the European Ultreia project, under the supervision of Prof. Gemma Eibes and Prof. Thelmo Lú Chau.
