Pablo Espada

Graduated in Biotechnology at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid with a Master's degree in Microbiology by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Both my degree and master's final project focused on the degradation of aromatic pollutants and its valorization into added-value compounds. Those works are what led me into environmental microbiology and waste management. Currently, I am a PhD student working to understand the fate and behaviour of Antibiotic Resistant Genes in manure and sludge management chains.
