Juan Iglesias
Predoctoral Researcher
I have studied Chemical Engineering and a Master in Chemical Engineering and Bioprocesses, both at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela. My master thesis was developed in the research line of production of biochemicals and value-added compounds, more specifically in the anaerobic fermentation of saline wastewater for the production of short-chain fatty acids. Currently in my doctoral thesis I am working on the production of short and medium chain fatty acids from lignocellulosic biomass, which is framed in the Cell4Chem project.
