Adrián Agraso

PhD Candidate

Graduated in Industrial Chemical Engineering at the University of Vigo and with a Master's in Chemical Engineering and Bioprocesses at the USC.
I have been involved in other research groups, such as BIOSUV at Uvigo and at the Polytechnic of Gdansk, working on water treatment. In addition, I have experience in the private sector in a company dedicated to the production of alternative proteins through the use of filamentous fungi.
My thesis will focus on the evaluation of sustainability linked to the use of reclaimed water in irrigation systems, including horticultural (tomato and lettuce) and woody crops (vine, almond, hops and olive) located in Spain, Portugal and France. It will be developed under two financed projects, i-ReWater and Nutritive. The director of the thesis will be Professor Sara González García.
