I obtained my degree in Chemical Engineering in 2014 and my Master in Chemical Engineering and Bioprocesses in 2016, both at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela.
I started working in BioGroup within the INTECOL project and later started my PhD in Chemical and Environmental Engineering in 2016 (supported by Xunta de Galicia since November of 2018) with the main objective of developing an integral technology for the enzymatic production of high added value oligomers from natural flavonoids.
My research interests concern the enzymatic transformation of biologically active natural molecules and the optimization of bioprocesses, as well as the determination of different biological properties. With the objective of developing new techniques and learning about different analysis, I have performed three research stays so far:
· Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Porto, Portugal): 2 months, from 01/02/2017 to 31/03/2017 (IACOBUS grant)
· Universidade de Aveiro (Aveiro, Portugal): 2.5 months, from 01/07/2018 to 31/07/2018 and from 01/09/2018 to 15/10/2018 (REGATA network grant)
· Universidade de Aveiro (Aveiro, Portugal): 3 months, from 01/05/2019 to 31/07/2019 (Xunta de Galicia, research stay grant)
