Last Friday 2nd of May 2014, Helena Moralejo defended with a big success her Doctoral Thesis entitled "Biopolymer production by bacterial enrichment cultures using non-fermented substrates". Her work was supervised by Prof Mark van Loosdrecht and Prof. Robert Kleerebezem from Delft University of Technology and Anuska Mosquera from USC. The Defense was held at Delft University where Elena has developed part of her research work. The Biogroup had the opportunity to follow the Defense in live, thanks to a streaming connection with TU Delft. Congratulations Helena!!
