PhD Candidate

I have a degree in Chemistry (2022) and a Master in Environmental Engineering (2024) from the University of Santiago de Compostela. My research experience includes the production of biopolymers from used cooking oil. Currently, I am doing a PhD, focused on slurry treatment. My work includes the quantification of GHG emissions in nitrogen removal by autotrophic bacteria (Partial Nitrification/Anammox process) and nutrient recovery by purple phototrophic bacteria (PPB) within the Nutritive Project.
