PhD Candidate
Graduated as a Chemical Engineer from the University of Santiago de Compostela, I continued my academic training with a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and Bioprocesses at the same institution. During my master’s program, I carried out my Master’s Thesis at CRETUS (Cross-disciplinary Research Center in Environmental Technologies), where I focused on the design of a novel indicator framework for the assessment of ecosystem services in the context of marine resource management. This work allowed me to integrate environmental systems analysis, sustainability metrics, and life cycle thinking into a structured evaluation approach. My research interests revolve around sustainability assessment, circular economy strategies, and the application of life cycle methodologies to complex environmental systems. I currently work in the research line of the European project SEA4FUTURE, contributing to the development of integrated frameworks for fisheries sustainability assessment.
