Congratulations to Matías Rivadulla for the successful defense of his doctoral thesis “Innovative treatment solutions at pilot scale for eliminating contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) in centralised and decentralised wastewater systems" supervised by Prof. Juan M Garrido and Prof. Francisco Omil.
The main objective of his thesis was to evaluate and develop new treatment strategies capable of improving the removal of emerging contaminants from urban wastewater (particularly he focused on pharmaceutical compounds and antimicrobial resistance genes), both in centralized treatment systems and in decentralized configurations.
We warmly congratulate Matías on the excellent work carried out!
