"Impact of the pricing policy on the environmental performance of urban waste management systems" is the title of the Doctoral Thesis of Álvaro Fernández Braña that has presented today 21 of october at School of Engineering. His work was supervised by Prof. Gumersindo Feijoo e Prof. Celia María Dias Ferreira (Universidade Aberta de Portugal)
The main objective of this PhD thesis is to better understand the factors affecting the enzyme-catalyzed oxidative oligomerization of natural antioxidants in absence of toxic organic solvents, leading to the design of proper biocompatible technologies that enhance the economic and environmental viability of the process through enzyme reuse.
The commission was formed by Assoc.Prof. Sara González García (Universidade de Santiago de Compostela), Dr. Konstantínos Moustákas. (Ethnikó Metsóvio Polytechneío) and Prof. Giuseppe Mancini (Università degli Studi di Catania).
