Congratulations to Tamara Casero for the defense of her industrial doctoral thesis “Towards the industrial-scale valorization of food industry effluents into volatile fatty acids”. Thanks to the collaboration between CETAQUA and the University of Santiago de Compostela, Tamara carried out an Industrial doctorate that was supervised by Professors Marta Carballa and Miguel Mauricio (USC) and Dra. Celia Castro Barros (Cetaqua)
Tamara's research focused on the valorisation of food industry effluents into volatile fatty acids through anaerobic fermentation, focusing my research on two key sectors in Galicia: the dairy and canning industries.
