Tomás Allegue has defended his Doctoral Thesis entitled: “Development and study of simultaneous nitrogen and methane removal bioprocesses for wastewater treatment” last tuesday at School of Engineering (ETSE) and he has achieved the maximum qualification. His work has been supervised by Prof. Francisco Omil and Prof. Juan M. Garrido.
During these years, Tomás has developed his research mainly at Biogroup (ETSE) but also he has done a research stay at University of Queensland (Australia) which has permitted him to obtain the European Doctorate.
The comission was formed by Ramón Méndez Pampín (Universidade de Santiago de Compostela), Dr. Ana Lorena Esteban García (Universidad de Cantabria) and Dr. Maartje Van Kessel (Radboud University)
