Colleagues, former students, family and friends accompanied Moncho in an emotional ceremony last Friday 1st of July, which took place in the auditorium of the School of Engineering (ETSE).

In this well-deserved tribute, Prof. Antonio López, Rector of the University of Santiago de Compostela, gave an affectionate and moving speeches. Also some colleagues-friends, Prof. Alberto Arce (USC), Prof. Anuska Mosquera (USC), Rosa Mª Arcos (USC), Prof. Luis Melo (University of Porto), Prof. Roberto Almuíña, Prof. Gumersindo Feijoo (USC) and Juan Lema (USC and Royal Galician Academy os Sciences), had the opportunity to give a few words about different aspects of Ramon´s life and career.
