Congratulations to Eduardo Entrena for the Defense of his Doctoral Thesis last July 1st. In his work, Eduardo has developed a series of methodologies that allow the integration of sustainability and nutrition indicators to be transformed into eco-labels within the food industry. To achieve this, he opted for the use of unique composite values that facilitate effective communication between producers and consumers. His research work was carried out at CRETUS within the BioGroup of the Department of Chemical Engineering under the supervision of professors María Teresa Moreira Vilar and Sara González García.
The comission was formed by Prof. Jacopo Bacenetti from Università Degli Studi di Milano (Italy), Dra. Luada Ladu from Technische Universität Berlin (Germany) and Prof. Sebastián Villasante (USC)
