With the topic "Engineering is also a women’s matter" the group of Environmental Biotechnology celebrates today, February 11th, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This day has established to recognize the critical role women and girls play in science and technology. This day is an opportunity to promote full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls. Gender equality must be also a global priority. Currently, at the Biogroup the gender balance is 33 female vs 32 male. We can not be more equal! Happy #WomenInScience Day!
